Project Harvest Greens is a wellness initiative born to combat the lack of access to healthy, nutritious food for much of our community. How many people have to choose between making the car payment or feeding themselves and their family healthy, nutritious food? Groceries are expensive. Nutritious groceries are almost unattainable.
How do children develop healthy eating habits, healthy bones, bodies, and well being without proper access to vegetables? How do parents provide for their children's development when they have to make difficult life choices between surviving and thriving? How do elderly people heal and nurture their bodies from sickness without access to vegetables?
These are questions that we have 1 simple answer to...PROJECT HARVEST GREENS.
Our donors have teamed up with local Trusted Partners—community agencies that know their neighborhoods inside and out. These amazing organizations have identified the families, youth, and elderly who will benefit the most from a boost of fresh nutrition.
